Christmas Eve

Traditionally a Christian holiday celebrating the day of anticipation of Jesus of Nazareth.

Christmas Eve is largely celebrated by groups of people gathering in many places from well known parks, shopping malls and churches in praise and worship, singing beautiful Christmas carols and reinacting the nativity scene which is a famous Christian tale of how Jesus of Nazareth came into this world.

The well known nativity scene which is seen all over in shop windows, on cartoons and in practically every corner of the world on Christmas Eve is the beautiful tale of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth which includes the iconic figures of Mary, Joseph and the three wise men who gifted the baby Jesus.

The nativity scene can be found in the accounts of Matthew and Luke in the new testament of the Christian Bible.

Christmas Eve is also the day that presents are wrapped and prepared for the next day which is Christmas Day. Shopping on Christmas Eve is quite a ridiculously tiresome venture as every shop that remains open is full to the maximum capacity with hoards of last minute shoppers.
